Strand Palace Hotel is one of London's best hotels for business and leisure guests. Originally built as an Art Deco showpiece, the hotel has been carefully modernised. The guests now experience the latest standards of comfort together with everything they need right on the premises from shops, restaurants and bars to a sophisticated conference and banqueting centre. Built in 1912, this early Art Deco hotel occupies an entire block of The Strand. Casually-clad guests stream in and out of the bright, marble-walled lobby furnished with potted palms and leather sofas.

• Johnston's Brasserie: A split-level bar-restaurant, with gilt-framed mirrors and potted palms set against cream-colored walls. The raised dining area has tartan-upholstered chairs and striped wood floors, while the lower bar-lounge features red-and-black tiled flooring, bistro tables, and armchairs. Sandwiches, burgers, and pasta are served, and a fixed-price dinner menu offers modern European cuisine. The Continental buffet breakfast is served here. Capacity 100.
• The Mask Bar: Serving cocktails from early evening until the early hours, the air-conditioned Mask Bar attracts the business crowd and features teak paneling, bistro tables, and diamond-patterned banquettes surround the black granite wave-shaped bar. Capacity 50 seated. Open 5 PM-2 AM.
• 372 The Strand: Offers the original English Carvery buffet. A limited 'a la carte' menu of grills and stir fry is also available.
• Hops!: A lively bar with great prices for central London an ideal place to meet after work. Large screen showing sporting events. Snack menu also available. Opening hours Tues-Sat 4.30 till 11pm.
• The recently refurbished Strand Academy provides the ideal venue for meetings, conferences and exhibitions. Its modern setting has also attracted clientele seeking stylish surroundings for luncheons, receptions, weddings and other private events.

• The Hotel offers a total of 783 comfortable rooms on nine floors. Options include standard single, double and twin bedrooms and upgraded Club rooms. Non-smoking and interconnecting rooms are available on request and all bedrooms have colour TV with remote control, free satellite channels, pay movie channels, answerphone, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and trouser press.
• The Strand Club Bedrooms provide superior amenities and benefits, as well as a Club Lounge where guests can relax. Many rooms have the new Genesis TV system with both WiFi or keyboard access, blockbuster movies, and audio CD (starting March 2004).
