General Information:Il Casale, a residence out of a building of the year 500 sits in front of the towers, the domes the green and the sky of Cortona, an ancient city of origins. During August it is the chosen location for the National Antiques Showroom, where for the occasion, in the old rooms of Palazzo Casali and Palazzo Vagnotti, all the most important Italian exhibitors gather. Come stay and see all of the culture and history. We will make sure your stay is one you will never forget.Location:The rural complex is situated nearby the San Pietro a Cegliolo neighborhood. It is laid out around a huge garden and the mother tower which overlooks the main building, which is also the oldest and still maintains the original features, like the double slope roof and the external stairway with a wide landing for the middle floor access.Area Details:The residence is in a beautiful position from which they can reach the best historical towns in one-day trip like Florence, Siena, Arezzo and Perugia. In a few minutes they can reach also the Trasimeno Lake where they can visit its little isles.Recreation:Our guests have a 16 X 8 meter pool, laundry, horse back riding, footpaths for walking and mountain biking at their disposal. They could also use the new wireless connection, choosing between their own laptop of that one at disposal from us in the common areas, by the pool, or direct in the apartment. Rooms:The residence is made of 10 apartments, of which 8 sleep 4, one sleeps 3, and one sleeps 2. They all provide a stylish and elegant solution, floors and ceilings made with old cotto tiles and antique furniture ageing around the year ‘800. The apartments have two bedrooms, some of which with two double beds, some other with one double bed and a room with single beds, bathroom with shower and the living room with a cooking corner (fire spots, electrical oven, fridge and double sink). The general feeling is of a relaxing and “antique” luxurious environment.**A 9 euro per night air conditioning fee charged to guests between June 28-August 30. There is a 9 Euro per night fee charged to guest from October 15-Apr 15. There is always a 40 euro per night final cleaning charge.""
